Toshiba touts new Infinix VF-i outfit

Toshiba America Medical Systems is displaying its Infinix VF-i biplane x-ray system with two 12 x 12-inch flat-panel detectors and a hybrid catheterization table at this year's American College of Cardiology (ACC) meeting in Atlanta.

Toshiba's line of Infinix-i five-axis systems are now available with a CAT 880B tilt/cradle hybrid catheterization table, designed to provide greater positioning flexibility and patient access during imaging and surgery, according to the Tustin, CA-based vendor. Featuring side-to-side cradle and head-to-toe tilt functionality, the table allows clinicians to optimally angle the table to quickly complete procedures, Toshiba said.

The hybrid catheterization table features a 550-lb table weight limit, and can accommodate angulations of up to 16° in all four directions. It has a table height of 75 cm.
