Canon to debut projectors at RSNA

Canon U.S.A. will be presenting two high-resolution multimedia projectors for medical education at the 2009 RSNA meeting in Chicago.

The REALiS WUX10 Mark II D and REALiS SX80 Mark II D projectors feature a DICOM simulation mode, providing compliance with the DICOM Part 14 standardized display function for display of grayscale images. The mode will provide educators with the ability to display digital x-rays to large audiences, according to the Irvine, CA-based firm.

WUX10 Mark II D features native WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200 with a 2.3-megapixel display, while SX80 Mark II D has a native SXGA+ resolution of 1400 x 1050 with a 1.47-megapixel display, Canon said.
