Cook launches interventional radiology unit

Interventional technology firm Cook Medical has formed an interventional radiology strategic business unit.

The unit will make significant investments in the development of new interventional radiology devices and technologies, according to the Bloomington, IN-based firm. It will also aim to empower interventional radiologists to improve patient outcomes with skills and procedures best performed in interventional radiology labs, Cook said.
