Toshiba Medical Systems Europe, based in Zoetermeer, Netherlands, has named Chikao Kamijima as its new president and CEO.
Kamijima has held a variety of positions within Toshiba since joining the company in 1980, including manager of the company's ultrasound business from 1997 to 2004. For the last four years, Kamijima has served as general manager of the Strategic Business Planning Department of Toshiba Medical Systems in Tokyo.
