AngioDynamics to launch new VenaCure line

Interventional technology provider AngioDynamics will be launching its NeverTouch VenaCure procedure kit for the laser treatment of severe varicose veins.

The new VenaCure design will utilize a proprietary laser fiber technology designed to improve perforation protection by further preventing contact between the fiber tip and the vessel wall during treatment, AngioDynamics said. The Queensbury, NY-based firm said it would be launching NeverTouch during the current fiscal quarter.
