AngioDynamics unveils Smart Port CT

Interventional technology provider AngioDynamics of Queensbury, NY, introduced its new Smart Port CT at this week's meeting of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) in Seattle.

The product is a vascular access port indicated for power injection of contrast media with a flow rate of 5 mL/sec. It is designed to eliminate dead space and the formation of sludge, extending the working life of the port. It is available in two catheter sizes -- 9.6F and 7.5F -- and features Fluoromax 100% silicone catheters with a radiopaque shaft and tip.
