Interventional firm Cook said that it has received European CE Mark approval for its Zenith Branch endovascular graft.
The product is specifically designed to treat aortic aneurysms while preserving blood flow to the internal iliac artery, according to the Bloomington, IN-based firm.
The company said that in conjunction with its Zenith AAA graft and Zenith Iliac leg grafts, the Zenith Branch graft allows treatment of the iliac aneurysm without the need for iliac embolization. Cook said that it hopes to bring the technology to the U.S.
