Swissray books 30 sales in Q1

Digital x-ray developer Swissray International booked 30 digital x-ray orders in its first 2002 fiscal quarter (end-September 30), compared with one system in the first quarter of last year. Of the 30 orders, 15 were received from distribution partners Hitachi Medical Systems America and Marconi Health Care Products. Thanks to the first-quarter orders and expectations for the next three quarterly periods, the Elmsford, NY-based vendor said it expects to achieve profitability during its current fiscal year (end-June 30, 2002).
