Riverain scores Canadian sales deal

Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer Riverain Medical of Miamisburg, OH, has signed an agreement covering distribution of its software in Canada.

Medical imaging distributor Christie Group of Saint-Eustache, Quebec, will sell Riverain's OnGuard chest x-ray CAD application, as well as its SoftView enhanced chest imaging application.

OnGuard is designed to identify solitary pulmonary nodules on chest x-rays, while SoftView increases the clarity of digital chest x-ray images by suppressing bone and providing a soft-tissue image for more confident image interpretations, according to the company.
