Excel's Image Stitch orthopedic stitching package features new measurement tools, an easier-to-use alignment system, and a HIPAA compliance package that can be customized to the needs of the facility.

Other new Excel features include:

  • ImageEnhance, which optimizes images immediately, requiring no postprocessing from the technologist
  • Edge enhancement for separate optimized enhancement of bone or soft-tissue detail, independent of each other
  • Exam-specific processing, which allows customization to the specifications of each exam and streamlines exam setup

StingRay Excel, suited for general radiography and orthopedic applications, is available in the U.S. and worldwide in retrofit or new-room configurations with a 17 x 17-inch amorphous silicon/cesium iodide panel.
