RIS/PACS software firm Telerad Tech is launching its new MammoAssist artificial intelligence (AI) software at RSNA 2018 in Chicago.

MammoAssist analyzes a mammogram, processes the imaging data and analyzes radiographic features, categorizes clinical findings using BI-RADS scoring, and produces a fully detailed structured report, according to the company. Then, radiologists may read the report, validate the AI findings, and sign off on the report.

Telerad Tech also said that it plans to release multiple AI products for radiology diagnosis next year.
