Agfa HealthCare plans to introduce its newest computed radiography (CR) unit at the upcoming RSNA meeting.

CR 15-X works for decentralized general radiography environments, private practices, small clinics, and general orthopedic and chiropractic offices. It features four different cassette sizes (35 x 43 inches, 24 x 30 inches, 18 x 24 inches, and 15 x 30 inches) and includes Agfa's Musica image processing software.

The device is not yet available in the U.S. and Canada, according to Agfa.
