OR Technology to launch new wireless DR at ECR

Image processing and PACS firm OR Technology is planning to introduce a new wireless digital radiography (DR) system at next week's ECR 2014 in Vienna.

The system uses a wireless flat-panel digital detector from PerkinElmer, XRpad 4336, along with a tablet PC; no cables, lines, or synchbox is needed. OR Technology is promoting the system as a wireless DR unit for the price of a computed radiography (CR) product.

The company also plans to showcase its Leonardo DR mini -- described as a suitcase DR system by the vendor -- and its Amadeo M x-ray system.
