Hologic has partnered with radiology humanitarian organization Rad-Aid and the Black Women's Health Imperative on a campaign to tackle breast cancer screening disparities in Black women.

The P.O.W.E.R. of Sure campaign is being launched in conjunction with the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It aims to encourage Black women to get annual mammograms beginning at age 40 and to provide women in underserved communities with access to breast cancer screenings.

Under the multiyear commitment, Rad-Aid will use Hologic's grant to fund screening and diagnostic services and ensure medically disenfranchised women have a pathway to treatment. Funds also will be used to support innovative care, radiology, public education, and nurse navigation at multiregional sites selected by Rad-Aid.

The services will be available at facilities in the Bronx/Washington Heights areas of New York City; Chicago's South Side; Washington, DC; North Carolina; Georgia; Mississippi; Alabama; Arizona; Seattle/Pacific Northwest; and Colorado.
