AmeriNet signs purchasing deals

Group purchasing organization AmeriNet has signed supply agreements with Instrumentarium Imaging and Siemens Medical Systems. In a deal that takes effect April 1, Milwaukee-based Instrumentarium will provide AmeriNet member hospitals with mammography systems. Siemens of Iselin, NJ, has begun providing cardiac cath lab and vascular lab equipment to the St. Louis-based GPO as part of the vendor's TargetBuy contract program, which offers heavily discounted prices. That six-month agreement began January 1.
