Nanox wins $20M in investment funding

June 8, 2020 -- Medical technology company Nanox has secured $20 million in investment funding from one of its current shareholders, wireless internet provider SK Telecom. The financing follows an initial $5 million investment from SK Telecom last year.

The two firms plan to collaborate on an effort to increase medical imaging accessibility by installing 2,500 of Nanox's digital x-ray systems in South Korea and Vietnam, pending regulatory approval in those countries, the company said.
