The bill, also known in Georgia as "Margie's law," was introduced through a grassroots advocacy effort led by Margie Singleton of Savannah, GA, according to breast density education group DenseBreast-info.org. Singleton was diagnosed with a breast cancer that was missed on screening mammography due to her dense breast tissue.
