By AuntMinnie.com staff writers

February 12, 2013 -- Radioisotope tracking firm BioDose and Nuclear Medicine Information Systems (NMIS) have been renamed and rebranded as ec2 Software Solutions.

NMIS was established in 1985 to help hospital and nuclear pharmacy administrators manage recordkeeping for nuclear medicine imaging facilities. BioDose was spun off in 1999 to help nuclear medicine teams implement and manage software used in the nuclear medicine industry.

The two companies have approximately 5,500 customers worldwide in hospitals, outpatient facilities, and nuclear pharmacies. The new corporate identity and rebranding initiative is intended to increase visibility to customers.
