Cedara exhibits oncology software at RSNA

Cedara Software, of Mississauga, Ontario, is showing a line of works-in-progress software for oncology diagnosis and treatment analysis at this week's RSNA 2005 in Chicago.

Cedara OncologyWorks is designed to assist with therapy planning and response assessment through PET/CT fusion, MR-based functional diffusion mapping, tracking quantitative tumor measurements over time, and patient follow-up management.

Cedara is detailing its work-in-progress multimodality workstation Cedara I-Response software that features a proprietary technology for molecular imaging -- known as functional diffusion mapping (fDM) for MRI -- and therapy response assessment, particularly in the area of brain cancer care and the assessment of brain tumor response to therapy.
