BERLIN - After two and a half years of sweating the details, a team led by researchers from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles say they have developed an easy method that PACS users can employ to incorporate CAD into their viewing workstations -- independent of the vendor they're using. The group presented its CAD-PACS toolkit at this week's Computer Assisted Radiology and Surgery (CARS) meeting.
