IT vendors, healthcare facilities scramble to remedy early switch to DST

Most of the U.S. will turn their clocks one hour ahead for daylight-saving time on Sunday, March 11 -- three weeks earlier this year. This early switch has drawn the attention of healthcare facilities and their IT vendors, who are taking preventive steps to avoid any adverse events such as system downtime and patient safety issues.
