Diagnósticos da América S.A. (DASA), the largest diagnostic provider in Latin America, has adopted Agfa HealthCare’s Enterprise Imaging Platform to unify its imaging systems across its network.
DASA's network covers Brazil and Argentina and includes 40 healthcare provider brands. It serves 55,000 patients daily and processes around 10 million tests monthly, according to a statement from the Belgium-based Agfa.
DASA will replace five separate legacy systems with Agfa’s platform. The initial three-phase implementation has already begun, the two firms said. Plans for 2025 could include expansion across the entire DASA network, which will support an estimated 15.2 million clinical studies per year.
