Merge has launched MergeIQ, an AI layer embedded across its imaging platform.
Two initial applications are available within the Merge Workflow Orchestrator, including RelevancyIQ, which identifies and ranks prior reports by relevance to the current case, and NaviIQ, which searches within prior reports to surface relevant findings and historical context. Both applications are designed to bring relevant prior information directly into the radiologist's diagnostic reading workflow without requiring clinicians to switch between systems, Merge said.
At the platform level, MergeIQ combines fine-tuned foundation models, third-party models, and in-house AI models, according to the company. Merge said it plans to expand MergeIQ across additional applications and imaging specialties over time.
