Software firm Cercare Medical has released an updated version of its neuroimaging software suite.
Version 18 of Cercare Medical Neurosuite (CMN) includes updates for both stroke and oncology workflows, which the firm said were tailored by direct clinical feedback as well as a focus on usability, automation, and diagnostic confidence.
This release also introduces AI-powered brain masking for CT perfusion, improved PACS integration with vertical montages, a configurable perfusion summary montage that allows customization on how results are presented, tumor segmentations that can be edited and approved manually, and configurable DICOM-encapsulated PDF reports, according to Cercare.
Additional new features include usability enhancements for the region of interest dashboard, improved co-registration for CT and MR, a fast-track option for singular value decomposition-based and threshold-based lesion results, and support for automatic volume of interest analysis (this last for research purposes only).
