Radiology Partners launches new AI-based platform

Imaging services provider Radiology Partners has launched a new AI-powered enterprise imaging platform, MosaicOS.

MosaicOS is a cloud-based, scalable operating system that incorporates diagnostic technologies, AI-based tools, and workflows.

MosaicOS includes the tools Mosaic Reporting, which combines ambient voice AI and large language model (LLM) technology to automatically structure reports, and Mosaic Drafting, which applies a multimodal AI foundation model to predraft x-ray reports for radiologists to review, edit, and sign.

Mosaic Reporting is already in use at multiple practices, with a broader rollout planned throughout 2025 and 2026, the company said. Mosaic Drafting is currently being implemented under Institutional Review Board protocols while the firm seeks U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval to implement its broader use and commercial availability.

The El Segundo, CA-based Radiology Partners has launched the platform through its new technology services division, Mosaic Clinical Technologies.

Additional tools, including a centralized patient information hub with AI capabilities, will be added later this year, according to the firm.
