Quibim has launched AI-QUAL, a new feature for its QP-Prostate platform.
AI-QUAL automates the assessment of prostate MR image quality in accordance with the PI-QUAL v2 guidelines. It uses advanced AI to evaluate prostate MRI studies and assign a standardized score from one to three to evaluate the diagnostic image. The system automatically detects common artifacts that can impact image quality and reduce diagnostic accuracy.
The company also said AI-QUAL improves diagnostic confidence among radiologists and is designed to fit into existing radiology workflows.
