Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in upstate New York will deploy AI software from Eon to increase its lung cancer screening offerings in the greater Buffalo area.
Eon’s Eon Patient Management (EPM) software will be used to longitudinally track and manage lung cancer screening patients, Roswell Park said. The cancer center noted that in New York state, only 6% of people eligible are being screened for lung cancer with simple low-dose CT (LDCT) exams.
In 2022, Roswell Park launched an initiative to reduce barriers to care and reach more patients by deploying a lung screening program on wheels in rural and urban communities.
