Agfa is collaborating with Lunit and will showcase the latter's Insight CXE artificial intelligence (AI) software integrated into the Musica Workstation at the ECR 2023 in Vienna.
Through this collaboration, radiographers will be automatically notified when chest x-rays detect life-threatening pathologies, the companies said. They added that this will help hospitals with patient safety through more timely communication with clinicians. This includes instances in which patients return home after their x-ray exams.
At ECR, this will be shown on both the DR 600 and the DR 100s technologies.
