Avicenna adds $10M to coffers

Artificial intelligence (AI) software developer Avicenna.ai has wrapped up a $10 million series A funding round.

The round included backing by existing investors Innovacom and CEMAG Invest. Avicenna.ai said it would use the funds to scale up deployment of its software around the world, as well as diversify its offerings in medicine.

The company said that it installed its software applications at more than 140 hospitals in 14 countries across three continents in 2022. Furthermore, it expects to deploy its software at least 30 new sites every month this year.
