Artificial intelligence (AI) cerebrovascular software developer RapidAI has named Karim Karti as its new CEO.
Karti brings more than 25 years of experience in medical technology to RapidAI. He spent more than 22 years at GE Healthcare, serving as president and CEO of GE Healthcare Korea, president and CEO of emerging markets, and global chief marketing officer for the entire healthcare division; he was appointed president and CEO of GE Healthcare Imaging in 2016, RapidAI said.
Karti also served as chief operating officer at cardiac monitoring and AI digital health firm iRhythm Technologies.
