
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared two new mammography reading and workflow optimization software from Siemens Healthineers.
Both Mammovista B.smart and teamplay Mammo Dashboard improve breast imaging analysis workflow, according to the firm. Mammovista B.smart supports breast imaging interpretation across imaging modalities and increases image loading speed by 75%, Siemens said. It uses artificial intelligence algorithms to produce a confidence score in the probability of cancerous tissue.
Teamplay Mammo Dashboard operates on Siemens' teamplay Digital Health platform and produces a snapshot of institution, modality, and exam key performance indicators such as radiation dose, compression, and device utilization, the company said.
