National medical group Envision Healthcare said that its radiologists have begun using artificial intelligence (AI) software for several clinical applications.
Rolled out via Envision's software platform, the AI software is designed to help radiologists detect diseases, prioritize cases, and aid in diagnosis, according to Envision. The group said that the software detects three common medical emergencies: intracranial hemorrhages, pulmonary embolisms, and cervical spine fractures.
