Greenpeak Partners acquires aycan Medical Systems

Greenpeak Partners has acquired radiology informatics firm aycan Medical Systems through its holding group Paratus.

As part of the acquisition, aycan will join forces with PACS firm Image Information Systems, a reseller and technology partner of aycan since 2021. Paratus acquired a majority stake in Image Information Systems in April, Greenpeak said.

Aycan is a medical imaging IT solutions provider focused on improving workflow efficiency and reducing costs, with the decision to acquire the company based on its established market position and track record, particularly in the Apple and Linux PACS space, Greenpeak noted.

In line with Paratus’ business strategy, aycan and Image Information Systems will retain their individual operations and brand identities, Greenpeak added.
