Staff costs account for much of MRI operational expenses

The costs involved in staffing an MRI service -- particularly for radiologic technologists -- made up the greatest expense involved in operating an MRI scanner, according to a total-cost-of-ownership analysis presented at the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine meeting.

Could AI scoring help with managing DCIS?

Axial contrast-enhanced CT scan in a 28-year-old premenopausal woman shows an incidentally detected solid-appearing left ovarian lesion (solid arrow) anterior to the uterus (U), associated with trace ascites in the right adnexa and cul de sac (dashed arrows).
