Sectra, R2 ink partnership

Swedish PACS and digital mammography developer Sectra has signed a partnership agreement with computer-aided detection (CAD) provider R2 Technology. R2’s CAD technology will be customized for use with Sectra’s MicroDose full-field digital mammography system.

Sectra will gain exclusive worldwide distribution rights for three years to R2’s CAD technology, as applied to the MicroDose system, according to Sectra of Linkoping, Sweden, and R2 of Sunnyvale, CA.
