ASRT waives renewal fees for RTs who serve in military

The American Society of Radiologic Technologists will waive its renewal dues for any member deployed for U.S. military service after September 11, 2001. This includes all branches of the armed forces, including the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force, and Marines.

In order to obtain the waiver, an ASRT member must submit a copy of their deployment orders with their renewal notice. The policy only applies to continuing members, not new applicants, according to the ASRT.
