SEATTLE - In a talk at this week's International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) meeting, Dr. Elias Zerhouni urged radiologists to shift their understanding of the field and focus on the complex underpinnings of disease processes in an aging population. "If you look at this way, you realize the public health requirements of this century, you realize the scientific requirements, and perhaps then the vision for imaging for the 21st century becomes more obvious," Zerhouni stated.
