CR and DR conversion: Vanquishing the 'dark side' of digital x-ray
Radiography's migration to filmless imaging is in full swing, with computed radiography (CR) a well-established technology and digital radiography (DR) making significant inroads in the past several years. But many facilities are discovering that CR and DR are far more than just digital versions of analog radiography. Translucency rendering aids prepless 3D VC
By
Eric Barnes

Rolling back FFDM dose influences diagnostic accuracy, experiment shows
By
Shalmali Pal
In theory, switching from analog to digital offers the opportunity to reduce radiation dose, but how a lower dosage would affect image quality remains unclear.
