MR makes clinical, technical strides in imaging the female pelvis

Two new studies looked at ways to expand the role of MRI in the female pelvis. First, Korean radiologists and radiation oncologists assessed the accuracy of MRI for finding metastatic lymph nodes in cervical cancer patients. In the second study, a German group used a faster MRI sequence on a 3-tesla magnet to make short work of the imaging process.
