The American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) held its annual meeting in Aurora, CO in late June, showcasing the latest research and insights for cardiac sonographers to take back to their practice.
Radiologists once predominantly used echocardiography to scan the heart, but cardiologists are now the primary users of this modality. And other specialists such as nurse practitioners and interventionists use echo as well.
