Ascend Cardiovascular and Epsilon Imaging have entered a strategic partnership integrating Ascend's enterprise structured reporting platform with Epsilon's EchoInsight Zero Footprint advanced echocardiography analysis software.
The integration allows clinicians to launch EchoInsight directly within Ascend's web-based image visualization platform, with AI-based view classification pre-sorting imaging loops before analysis. Measurements generated by EchoInsight, including speckle-tracking strain imaging and more than 100 standardized cardiac function measurements, are automatically mapped back into Ascend's structured reporting templates without manual data entry.
The combined platform also supports pediatric and congenital cardiology workflows, pairing Ascend's lesion-specific templates and Z-score calculators with EchoInsight's pediatric application for longitudinal tracking of myocardial mechanics, the firms said.
