Exo has announced expanded deployment options for its Iris handheld ultrasound device, adding a subscription-free configuration alongside its existing connected cloud subscription model.
The subscription-free option enables immediate scanning after a one-time activation without requiring cloud connectivity or ongoing software costs, according to the company. The connected option, Exo Iris with Exo Works Connect, provides cloud storage, documentation, user management, and account-based security for health systems and multi-site organizations.
Both options include image transfer to PACS, access to all AI diagnostic indicators across cardiac, lung, volume management, and population health applications cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and software updates, Exo said.
