
CIVCO Medical Solutions has announced a new vice president (VP) of business development: Brad Dunlap.
Brad Dunlap.In addition to leading business development activities, Dunlap will manage business and product development with CIVCO's ultrasound OEM partners.
He has more than 25 years of experience in the medical device industry, beginning his career at CIVCO in marketing, product management, and account management and eventually leading CIVCO's first international office in Belgium as director of business development. He then spent 12 years with Baxter Healthcare's Renal Division in Europe and at its global headquarters in Illinois.
Dunlap returned to CIVCO in 2012 to serve as vice president of marketing and product line management. He was most recently vice president and managing director of the Healthcare Division at Dunn&Co, a full-service marketing agency in Florida.
Dunlap will be based at CIVCO's corporate headquarters in Coralville, IA.

Undifferentiated spindle cell sarcoma was diagnosed at biopsy, with residual leiomyosarcoma in the surgical specimen after neoadjuvant therapy. The mass is heterogeneous at both B-mode ultrasound (similar to patient A) and MRI (coronal T2-weighted spectral attenuated inversion recovery [SPAIR]; T1-weighted pre-contrast and postcontrast imaging), which even shows uptake after the administration of paramagnetic contrast material, which is traditionally suggestive of malignancy. Low values at SMI and elastography are suggestive of benignity.
