SimonMed has selected AIRS Medical's SwiftMR as its enterprise-wide MRI enhancement platform, deploying the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-cleared AI package across its nationwide network of imaging centers.
SwiftMR uses AI to improve image quality and reduce scan times without requiring additional hardware, operating across multiple scanner types and manufacturers, according to SimonMed.
The deployment addresses a structural challenge facing outpatient imaging providers: rising MRI demand against pressure to deliver faster exams without sacrificing diagnostic accuracy, the company noted.
