Gamma camera developer Dilon Technologies of Newport News, VA, will introduce a work-in-progress retrofit for its dedicated scintimammography system, Dilon 6800 Gamma Camera.

GammaLoc is a gamma-guided 3D localization system for real-time stereotactic gamma-guided biopsy. Dilon designed GammaLoc as a means to biopsy after breast-specific gamma imaging (BSGI). The company hopes to receive U.S. Food and Administration clearance for GammaLoc in 2007.
