Eckert & Ziegler has signed a collaboration agreement with Thor Medical to expand the supply and manufacturing base for lead-212 (Pb-212), supporting pharmaceutical companies developing Pb-212–based targeted alpha therapies.
Under the agreement, Thor Medical will initially supply lead-212 to Eckert & Ziegler for preclinical research and development. The companies will also explore integrating their isotope production and radiopharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities with the aim of scaling up production capacity over time, according to an announcement from Eckert & Ziegler.
Thor Medical's first commercial production facility, AlphaOne, is expected to begin production in the third quarter of 2026.
