The Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography's (SCCT) board of trustees has appointed Norm Linsky as the society's new executive director.
Linsky comes to SCCT from the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI), where he was executive director for 14 years. Under his leadership, SCAI achieved federal recognition of interventional cardiology as a separate specialty, along with greater public visibility and national awards for educational excellence, SCCT said.
