Thoratec selects Burbach as CEO

Interventional firm Thoratec has named Gary Burbach as its president and CEO.

Burbach replaces Keith Grossman, who served as the Pleasanton, CA-based company's CEO for nearly 10 years. Burbach was most recently president and CEO of nuclear medicine vendor Digirad of Poway, CA.
