Digital radiography developer Swissray International has been acquired by a private Swiss investor.

The acquisition includes all assets and intellectual property, as well as contracts and inventory, according to the East Brunswick, NJ-based vendor. Swissray said its new owner aims to advance its technology, expand its product portfolio, and increase its marketplace footprint. In an initial step, the company said it will expand its direct field service division by 25%.
