SonoSite nets NBA contract

Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite of Bothell, WA, has won a contract to provide portable ultrasound units to the National Basketball Association's (NBA) medical and athletic training staff, the company said.

Under terms of the multiyear agreement, SonoSite will provide hand-carried ultrasound units to the NBA and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League), according to SonoSite.
